I have just come across the wonderful work of Amy Hamilton. I am completely smitten by her illustrations and especially her woodland creatures like this sweet fawn above.

Above are a few of my favourite woodland inspired items we have in at the moment. Firstly we have the Cavallini Flora and Fauna Stamp Set, then You're a Fox Card and Evelina Journal both by Rifle Paper Co. and finally the MT Masking Tape Encyclopedia/Animal Japanese Washi Tape. All these items are available now at The Paper Parlour.

Paulina Bartnik creates the most beautiful and detailed embroidered brooches. You van visit her Etsy shop cOnieco to buy these items but I would recommend you are quick as they are all unique and handmade so are sure to be snapped up quickly.

Paper to Petals

Paper to Petals is a guide to creating beautiful paper flower decorations. It is not available until late August so I have added it to my wish list. I like many many people love flowers (specifically Peonies) so the idea of creating flowers that won't die on you sounds good to me.

This gives me the perfect excuse to get my Mt Washi Tape out to inject more colour and variation. I have not used the Daily Like Crafting paper set yet so watch this space, it may turn out to be a complete disaster but I am sure it will be fun!

We are going scrapbooking mad here at The Paper Parlour! Whether it's a scrapbook, memory book, scrap book album or photograph album we are finding that if it isn't stuck down it soon will be. We have just got some brilliant scrapbooks in this week in two different sizes and in an array of colours. The MT Tape and Cavallini Paper Tape are great for sticking polaroids/photographs, maps and tickets down in Cavallini stamps and Papaya Art glitter stickers decorate around the edges and space in between.

We have just got some playful new tapes in and I cannot wait to show them off! Not only do they come in the most glorious colours but the 5P Sweet range comes packaged like a bag of sweets. Perfect for scrapbooking, packing gifts and sticking stuff down in general! They can also be used to create and add to artwork.
