From the small beginnings of Maggie Topping making
a few pies at home to feed the family, and offering them for sale
through Toppings Butchers shop, the company has grown in successive
years, entering competitions both at home and abroad. Now it seems
Gold, Silver and Bronze awards have taken over at the Toppings bakery.
The success is in no small part due to the commitment of the team
to producing quality pies using the finest fresh ingredients.
Roger Topping, proprietor, says

the highest quality. Our aim is to supply every leading delicatessen
and food hall in every town in the UK who care about supplying their
customers with the best of the best
In 2001 The Topping Pie Company won the coveted gold medal in the
Guild of Fine Food Retailers Best Yorkshire Speciality Food
section of the Great Taste Awards, sponsored by Yorkshire Forward.
