With over 45 years experience in producing traditionally reared turkeys on our in Cookham Dean, Berkshire, we supply bronze feathered, free range, which roam under the cherry trees and in our grass meadows, with our white feathered turkeys, reared in our open fresh air barns All turkeys are fed on natural, cereal-based feeds only with no animal antibiotics or growth promoting additives.

In addition, our turkeys are specially selected, slow growing breeds which are grown to full maturity (at least 25 weeks old) and produced in the traditional manner, which includes dry plucking by land and a maturation process develop a superior taste and texture.

Being members of the Traditional Farmfresh Turkey Association (T.F.T.A.), our birds are reared and produced according to the Association's strict welfare and quality code. Both our farm and each of our birds are independently inspected to meet or exceed these standards and each has been approved to carry the 'Golden Promise' logo, which may only be used by Association members and is our customers' guarantee of quality.

In May 2000, Golden Promise turkeys became the first UK product to be awarded the 'Certificate of Specific Character' by the European and their authenticity is now protected by Brussels.

Each of our turkeys is supplied in a presentation box, wrapped in greaseproof paper (with vacuum-packed giblets), a spring of fresh rosemary, poprite cooking aid and a recipe leaflet with cooking instructions.
